Are all auras caused by migraine?Īuras are not «caused» by migraine. High estrogens (like during pregnancy) will increase the risk of auras. Other common triggers include lack of sleep, exercise, altitude, dehydration…anything that can make the neuron excitable or increase the «metabolic burden».
